Ambriel has extensive experience in the New York City design world. She created and manages a line of hand printed home textiles that currently sells in showrooms in New York, Chicago, Austin, Atlanta, Boston, and Toronto. Prior to that, Ambriel worked in print advertising as a stylist and editor. Over the last 6 years she has been involved in New York nonprofit work focusing on community building. Most recently, Ms. Floyd Bostic was on the Board of Brooklyn Community Housing and Services and co-chaired the program committee during the last year of her service. Two years ago Ambriel founded and now leads the In Kind Project, a community theatre program that provides arts programming for kids regardless of their ability to pay. Lastly, Ambriel is passionately involved in the preservation of the wetlands and protected areas of Orient, NY and founded the community-based Friends of Narrow River to work towards this purpose.

Ambriel is a graduate of Williams College and completed the Dartmouth and St. Petersburg University Russian program.
